Being part of OffshoreWings and what it means

When people ask me what it is like to be part of OffshoreWings, I usually start with the same answer. It is not a staffing agency, and it is not a freelance platform. It is a small, focused team that helps international companies build their own offshore teams in Bangkok, and treats every person we hire as a long-term colleague rather than a placement.

We work for one company at a time

Every specialist we hire works full time for one client. They are not split across accounts, they are not switched out when a project ends, and they are not measured on billable hours. Their job is to learn the client's product, their tools and the way the team works, and to become a real part of that team over time.

The setup is local, the work is global

The local employment, the office, the payroll and the HR all sit with our setup in Bangkok. That means the client gets a colleague on a proper contract, in a real office, with the same employment standards a European or US company would expect. From the client's side, the relationship looks like any other team member. From the specialist's side, it looks like a stable, long-term job.

What we care about internally

We try to keep things simple and honest. Clear contracts, transparent pricing, no hidden margins and no surprises at the end of the month. The same applies to the team. People know what they are paid, what is expected of them, and what they can grow into. The goal is that the people we hire stay for years, not months.

The kind of people we build with

The specialists who do well at OffshoreWings tend to share a few traits. They take ownership of their work, they communicate clearly across time zones, and they are comfortable being the only person in their role on the client's side. They are not waiting to be told what to do. They are running their part of the team.

Why it matters

Offshore staffing has a reputation problem, and most of it is earned. Too many setups optimise for short-term cost and treat people as interchangeable. We are trying to do the opposite. Build small, long-term teams in Bangkok where the client gets stability and the specialist gets a real career. That is what being part of OffshoreWings means to me.
